Balaji Kalyankar, the sitting MLA from Nanded North, is a shining example of grassroots political success. Balaji Kalyankar rose from his roots as an ordinary Shiv Sainik; Kalyankar's rise to power shows soaring political tenacity and garnered him the title of one of Maharashtra's 'giant killers.'

A 44-year-old politician with a BA degree, Kalyankar started off as a corporator in the

Waghala Municipal Corporation in 2017. He was elected to the Legislative Assembly in 2019, defeating D.P. Savant, an ally of Tormer.

Balaji Kalyankar gressed with the backing of Eknath Shinde. His allegiance to Shinde, particularly when Uddhav Thackeray joined with Congress and the Nationalist Congress Party, made him strongly stanced in state politics.

Kalyankar has seriously worked towards filling the infrastructural vacancy in his constituency. He has led upgrade on Chha-
